Term Limits

It doesn't take a genius to understand why term limits must be put into place, especially on congress. Our economic collapse of 2008 is just the BEGINNING of what these criminal politicians will do to us if they are not stopped.

#1 We must begin to vote out all incumbents. After several terms, put in the new blood! It will at least slow down the corruption of the special interests, lobby groups, and Wall Street from bribing the congress members. The "new blood" you elect, probably won't be great either, but voting out the old folks will slow down the bribery. In other words, these groups will have lost their "key relationship" and will have to start over again with someone new. Only this time, the new person may not be as easy to buy off as the last senate member.

You and everyone you know must dump the political scum. It is time for the "career politicians" to go bye-bye. That means every senator and house member, after let's say 3 terms, IS ENOUGH! They must go, or this economic collapse crap will only get worse. It's simply too tempting for these weak minded criminal individuals to cave in to crime. Really, why do we need senators who like 85 years old, taking up a senate seat? They are out of touch with reality, corrupt, they fall asleep in meetings (just watch a boring senate session on CSPAN if you don't believe us!) and most of the old timers get a little dim in the head after a while!

Demanding term limits on congress angers the hell out these crooks. Why? Because they want you to keep giving them their cushy jobs for as long as possible, while stealing your money in the process. It needs to change and the only way that will happen is with YOU TO TAKE ACTION. We are providing links to important sites on term limits (listed below). These are the folks who dedicate their time to these important services. You need read them to understand what is going on.

Sadly, the select few politicians who might be "honest" (if there is such a thing) are controlled by the majority who are corrupt. It's kind of like watching that funny 1980s movie with Eddie Murphy, The Distinguished Gentleman. This movie is hysterically funny and tragically sad at the same time. Rent or buy this movie if you haven't seen it. It will remind you how little things have changed, here in 2008. While you're at it, check out the Robin Williams movie, Man of the Year made around 2007. Yet another example of funny and sad political commentaries. These two films will make you think about how we all sit back and do nothing about corruption and crime at the top. It's going to have to change in order for our America to have a comeback.

It is up to YOU to do the homework, follow through, and vote all of these criminal politicians out of office. This includes YOUR home town. No American town is immune to the crime. Remember, very few politicians are honest. It's become a contradiction of terms. Also, don't let the political advertisements fool you into anything. You must research every single word they say, especially when voting for measures on the ballot. The words "honesty" and "politics" can rarely exist in the same sentence.

Protesting with a sign in front of a building is pretty much a waste of your time. Protesting might be fun, but ultimately, it's the crack cocaine they feed you, to make you feel like you have democratic rights. But behind your back these government morons laugh at you. As long as they get your tax money, they don't care one bit about what you're doing with your time!

How to fight? Being tight with your money and spending where necessary, writing letters, putting up websites, getting active with groups who are trying to clean up politics is what will get the message out. We even suggest putting yourself on YouTube and responsibly state your opinions and gripes. Now, holding up a video camera and screaming "This sucks!" might feel good, but it will be ignored. Kind of like holding up signs in front of a federal building will just get you ignored and made to look stupid. You must boycott with all your tools at hand. Now voting has become very corrupt. They simply doctor the votes, hide the votes, lie about the votes, etc. Voting alone isn't enough. It will take much more as a people to make change happen. So get busy or get screwed by the system. The choice is up to you.

U.S. Term Limits - Citizen Legislators, Not Career Politicians. Since 1992, the USTL has seen term limits placed on 17 state legislatures, eight of the ten largest cities in America adopted term limits for their city councils, and politicians continually failing at extending, or removing, their term limits. They have petitions always in circulation and they are working hard for your rights. Check them out. http://www.ustl.org.

Citizen Term Limits - No Career Politicians - The mission of Citizens for Term Limits is to mobilize American citizens to seek an amendment to the United States Constitution limiting the number of terms during which a person may hold office in each chamber of the U. S. Congress to six years, that is, one six-year term in the U. S. Senate, and three two-year terms in the U. S. House of Representatives.
